SAN ANTONIO — North Side Independent School District officials are investigating after nearly $3,400 worth of personal items were stolen from a student locker room during an away game.
According to an NISD statement, the items were stolen on Friday, Oct. 10 from a Holmes High School boys’ varsity locker room while the team was competing against Harlan at Gus Stadium.
The district says 14 students had their items stolen. NISD police are working with campus administrators to review surveillance footage and conduct interviews in an effort to identify the culprits.
Officials said although the investigation is ongoing, it’s currently estimated approximately $3,400 worth of personal items were stolen, including jewelry, cash, credit and debit cards.
