Looking for a ride on Election Day? Dallas Area Rapid Transit and Trinity Metro have North Texans covered, and it’s free.
Riders will be able to catch free rides to and from polling locations across Dallas-Fort Worth on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Here’s what you need to know.
DART
Breaking News
DART will offer free rides to polling locations within the service area on Tuesday, according to its website. DART buses, trains, Silver Line, GoLink, the Dallas Streetcar, Paratransit Services and the TRE between EBJ Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station will all be available to riders free of charge.
Riders will need to show a valid voter registration card to ride for free, however.
Those planning to take GoLink to the polls can use promo code VOTENOV4 at checkout for a complimentary Adult Local Day Pass in the GoPass app on Tuesday only, according to the website.

Trinity Metro
Trinity Metro will also offer free rides to and from polling locations Tuesday. Participating riders will be eligible for rides on Trinity Metro buses, Trinity Metro On-Demand rideshare services (including paratransit) and Trinity Metro TEXRail free of charge, according to its website.
Additionally, riders will be able to take the Trinity Railway Express to and from stations in Tarrant County, including CentrePort, for free.
Riders are encouraged to notify their drivers or conductors that they are traveling to or from a polling location in order to receive the free ride.
