Regional Mexican music icon Alicia Villarreal is bringing her highly anticipated Bendita Locura Tour to El Paso, with the city set to host the opening night of her 25-city U.S. tour next year.
The Monterrey-born singer, affectionately known as “La Güerita Consentida” and widely recognized as “La Jefa,” will kick off the nationwide trek at the historic Plaza Theatre on Friday, Sept. 4.
The new production will feature a blend of mariachi and norteño music, highlighting both the classic hits that made her a household name and the solo successes that cemented her place among the most influential women in Regional Mexican music.
Fans can expect to hear beloved songs including “Te Aprovechas,” “Yo Sin Tu Amor,”* and “Con la Misma Piedra,” as well as solo-era favorites such as “Te Quedó Grande la Yegüa,” “Ay Papacito,” and “Insensible a Ti.”
Villarreal’s El Paso performance marks the first stop on a U.S. tour that will span from Texas to Florida and California before concluding in Miami Beach in December 2026.
Tickets will be available through a Citi cardmember presale beginning June 16, followed by additional presales throughout the week. General ticket sales begin Thursday, June 18, at 10 a.m. through LiveNation.com.
