Bill was born in Albany, New York, on October 12, 1941, to Joseph and Dorothy (née Krebs), the middle child of five, with older brothers Michael and Denis, and younger sisters Joanne and Kathy. He passed away in comfort and peace on June 5, 2026. Denis and his wife Brenda (née Aswad) have sadly passed on however, Bill is survived by his children, Patrick and Maureen. Maureen and her husband, Jonathan Petrie are proud parents of Bill’s grandson, Finnegan Patrick. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963, and in those four years he achieved the rank of Airman First Class. The skills and experience he gained in radio communication during his service would form the basis of his future career in technology. One of Bill’s first jobs out of the military was with the Canadian company, Neilson Chocolate and Confectionery. Here, Bill worked for Harvey Hoidas who would introduce him to his future wife, Harvey’s daughter, Sandra Joan. Bill and Sandra married on December 2, 1967, and settled in Albany, New York, where they had Patrick and Maureen. Later, Bill’s career took hold at Mobil Oil, where he began as a service station manager, assigned to investigate and address fraudulent practices. His career quickly evolved as he became part of the computerization of data in the late 1970s. Known for his people skills, insight, charm, and hallmark sense of humor, he eventually found his perfect role as a Client Liaison. His work took him across the Northeast before he ultimately settled in Arlington, Texas, where he retired.
