EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Restaurants located in Downtown El Paso will take part in a new summer dining promotion aimed at encouraging residents and visitors to explore the city’s dining scene on Sundays.

The El Paso Downtown Management District (DMD) has launched “Summer Sundays”, a weekly promotion running every Sunday from June 14 through Aug 2 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at participating Downtown restaurants.

According to the DMD, each week will feature a different food theme, with restaurants offering special menus inspired by the theme of that week. Customers who order from a “Summer Sundays” Menu during the designated hours will receive a promotional giveaway while supplies last.

“Summer Sundays gives the community a fun way to discover Downtown restaurants, try themed menus, and make Sundays feel a little more special,” said Ivan Bernal, marketing and communications manager for the El Paso Downtown Management District, in a release to KTSM.

The promotion begins with a “Small Bites” theme featuring appetizers and shareable dishes. Future themes will include “Dessert First” on Father’s Day, as well as menu concepts such as “Between the Bun” and “Tacos & Enchiladas.”

Participating restaurants and featured menus will be announced weekly through Downtown El Paso’s social media platforms and website. Organizers stated the events are free to attend and do not require registration.
