Houston, TX — A Houston favorite is celebrating four decades of Gulf Coast tradition with a sweet tribute to Texas conservation.
In honor of Goode Co. Seafood’s 40th anniversary, the beloved restaurant is partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation to support conservation efforts along the Texas Gulf Coast. The collaboration centers on a limited-edition Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation fire-branded Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie Box, a handcrafted wooden keepsake that holds Goode Co.’s legendary pecan pie.
With every purchase, a portion of proceeds will support TPWF’s work to conserve the wild things and wild places of the Texas Gulf Coast.
“For 40 years, the Texas Gulf Coast has inspired our menus, our restaurants and our way of life,” said Chef and President Levi Goode of Goode Co. Restaurants. “Partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation is a meaningful way to celebrate that legacy while helping conserve the natural wonders that make this region so special.”
A Gulf Coast Legacy Worth Protecting
Since 1991, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation has worked alongside Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and other conservation partners to protect Texas’ lands, waters and wildlife. Along the coast, TPWF has helped advance projects that restore and protect critical habitat, rebuild oyster reefs, create artificial reefs, strengthen barrier islands and enhance coastal landscapes that support both wildlife and communities.
Recent TPWF investments include the historic acquisition of the 17,531-acre Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area and State Park, support for the second-largest artificial reef in the Texas Gulf, and the permanent protection of more than 12,000 acres of coastal habitat along the Matagorda Peninsula.
Together, these efforts help ensure the Texas Gulf Coast remains healthy, productive and wild for future generations.
“For four decades, Goode Company has brought the delicious flavors and traditions of the Gulf Coast to Texas tables,” said TPWF Executive Director Anne Brown. “We’re proud to mark this milestone together, and we invite Texans to join us in supporting the conservation work that will help ensure the long-term resilience of our Texas Coast, wild things and all.”
A Keepsake with a Cause
The limited-edition fire-branded pie box represents more than a milestone anniversary. It celebrates the shared connection between Texas food, coastal heritage and the natural landscapes that have shaped generations of Texans.
Goode Co. Seafood has long drawn inspiration from the Gulf Coast, from its menus to its hospitality. This anniversary partnership offers customers a way to enjoy one of the company’s most iconic desserts while contributing to conservation work that protects the coast for years to come.
The limited-edition Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie Box is available for purchase online and at all Goode Co. Seafood locations.
