ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a 2012 Kia Forte and a 2022 Ram F550 that occurred on Friday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of E. Division Street at approximately 4:08 p.m. on June 12, 2026, in response to the collision, according to a press release from the department. The driver of the Kia was pronounced deceased at the scene and did not have any identification on him. The driver of the Ram was not injured.
Accident Investigators determined that the driver of the Ram was traveling westbound on Division Street when the Kia pulled out in front of him, attempting to turn out of a gas station onto the eastbound lanes. The Ram then collided with the side of the Kia, stated the source.
The driver of the Ram remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. He is not currently facing any criminal charges in connection to this incident, according to the Arlington Police Department.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased once he is positively identified and next of kin have been notified.
