EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 32-year-old assistant store manager was arrested after allegedly stealing money from his workplace in Canutillo, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Eduardo Aleman was arrested and charged with theft of property. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $10,000 bond. He was charged with theft of more than $2,500 and less than $30,000, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

On Dec. 22, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a Speedway gas station at 280 Canutillo-La Union Road regarding a reported theft.
The store manager told deputies that money had been stolen from the business over a period of several months by the assistant store manager, later identified as Aleman, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
In an investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Aleman. On Sunday, June 14, deputies located Aleman at his residence and took him into custody on the outstanding warrant, EPCSO said.
According to jail records, Aleman posted bail on a surety bond and was released the same day.
