LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – We’re hearing from another candidate in the city council District 4 special election to feel the seat after Brayden Rose announced his resignation.
Boyd Goodloe is a Lubbock native with a background in ministry. A regular attendee of city council meetings and discussions, he says the city needs to spend taxpayer money more responsibly.
During our interview, Boyd said he’s running to stop the property tax rate increases we’ve seen in recent years.
Early voting for this special election runs through Tuesday, June 23. Election day is June 27.
