CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the Laguna Little Miss Kickball said a coach has been suspended and law enforcement has been notified following allegations that surfaced this week on social media in recent days.
In a message to the Laguna LMK community, organization President Candy Crider said the State Executive Board for Little Miss Kickball was notified of allegations involving one of the league’s coaches.

According to the statement, the Executive Board and Laguna LMK Board of Directors took immediate action after receiving the information.
The coach was suspended from all involvement with Little Miss Kickball and issued a stay-away order from league premises, the organization said.
League officials also said appropriate law enforcement authorities have been notified and that Little Miss Kickball has launched its own investigation into the matter.
The organization did not specify the nature of the allegations, and no criminal charges have been announced. Crider said the league’s top priority remains the safety and welfare of its players.
“From the moment we learned of this situation, our sole concern has been the safety and welfare of our players,” Crider wrote in the statement.
The organization said it will take all appropriate steps to hold any responsible individuals accountable and ensure player safety moving forward.
