Texas-based grocer H-E-B opened its latest North Texas location on Wednesday and its first in Dallas County.
The store along Interstate 635 between North Belt Line Road and Olympus Road opened to customers at 6 a.m. on June 17. The opening comes on the heels of the grocery opening its Midcities store on May 20.
There are currently 10 H-E-B branded stores open in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties, including five in Collin County, one in Denton County and three in Tarrant County. There are also eight other H-E-B locations in the nearby counties of Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, Johnson, Parker and Hood.
Another half dozen or so stores are planned for the cities of Murphy, Dallas, Denton, Carrollton and Fort Worth.
