LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Sunshine, warm southerly winds and temperatures in the 70s and 80s. It’s hard to believe that it’s the first week of November. It looks like it’s going to be a very warm week with some daily differences in temperatures, but nothing significant until the weekend.
KCBD News Weather Graphic – Monday, Nov. 3(KCBD)
There will be some very warm mid to upper 80s mixed in with a slight cool-down to the 70s on Friday. It will remain sunny, breezy for some days and unfortunately dry for the week.
It’s not great harvesting weather for cotton farmers, but the warm and dry conditions are conducive for fire weather danger.
KCBD News Weather Graphic – Monday, Nov. 3(KCBD)
Elevated fire weather will be likely Tuesday and again on Thursday and maybe on Saturday.
There will be colder temperatures on the way by late weekend into next week.
