Free agent running back Zamir White recently worked out for the Dallas Cowboys, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The former fourth round pick out of Georgia struggled to make a consistent impact in the backfield over the last four seasons in Las Vegas and was not re-signed. White also held a workout with the Miami Dolphins earlier in the offseason.
White has flashed major potential late in his second season back in 2023, but couldn’t maintain it the past two seasons. He is looking to latch on with a new club for a chance to bounce back in 2026. Should White ultimately sign with the Cowboys, he may emerge as an excellent second option behind star running back Javonte Williams in Dallas.
A fresh start may go a very long way for White this season. The talented running back has elite speed and athleticism considering his size, and should White not get a deal with the Cowboys, he will more than likely continue working out for teams as the offseason progresses.
