Chinese noodle restaurant Yo! Bowl is set to open a new location in Plano, according to a news release from the company.
The specifics
Yo! Bowl offers customizable bowls that feature mifen, a traditional southwest Chinese rice noodle. Customers can select their preferred broth, protein, vegetables, toppings and spice level.
“I wanted to introduce a dish that I grew up with and make it approachable for everyone,” Founder Xinran Xu said in the release. “Whether someone likes spicy food, mild flavors, soup or dry noodles, they can create a bowl that fits their own taste.”

The restaurant’s original location is in Carrollton, with the new Plano location being a response to high demand, the release states.
“We realized many of our regular customers were driving from Plano, Frisco and other parts of Collin County,” Xu said. “When the opportunity came to open a second location, Plano felt like the natural next step.”
