Aesop, a fragrance and body care brand, launched a new store at Domain Northside. The brand has 472 locations around the world and opened its first location in Austin on June 16, according to a representative from the brand.
What they offer
Aesop sells skincare, home, hair, fragrance, and hand and body care products. Patrons can shop for skin care based on their skin type, concerns or product ingredients; products include a parsley seed facial cleansing oil, cedar and citrus lip salve, and blue chamomile facial hydrating masque.
Aesop also offers fragrances with floral, fresh, woody or opulent scents, including the Above Us, Sterorra Eau de Parfum which features cardamom, vanilla bean and frankincense.
Something to note
The brand’s Austin location was inspired by automobiles—according to a news release—the main mode of transportation that Texans use to travel the state.
In-store shelving was constructed using tumbled steel and bent sheet metal—the same materials used in automotive construction, the release states. The store also features a fragrance library covered in recycled rubber from car tires and three sinks where staff give demonstrations and personalized recommendations.

The new store will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and on Sundays from noon-6 p.m.
