Two North Texas restaurants made the list, which included barbecue favorites and steakhouses. It was compiled using DoorDash data from April 2025 through April 2026. Eligible restaurants had fewer than 10 stores on the food delivery app, at least 1,000 customer reviews and some of the highest average ratings in their markets.
The list was categorized by top spots from which to order in, must-visit restaurants and places offering in-store rewards.
Hard Eight BBQ in Coppell was among the top places from which to order in, though the restaurant has additional locations across the region.
Hard Eight was also in the category of places offering in-store rewards, which means DashPass members can earn DoorDash credit by dining in-store.
Big Ray’s BBQ in Allen also made the list under the in-store rewards category. The restaurant offers various meats by the pound, including smoked beef bologna. It also has daily specials, a veggie plate and fried catfish on Fridays.
