Argentine fans have several events planned to celebrate the arrival of their national team in North Texas, where Argentina will play two group-stage matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Fan rallies, pregame gatherings, barbecues, and watch parties are among the activities the Argentine community has organized to welcome the reigning world champions.

Lionel Messi and Argentina will face Austria on June 22 at 12 p.m. and Jordan on June 27 at 9 p.m. at AT&T Stadium (Dallas Stadium) in Arlington.

About 100,000 Argentina soccer fans are expected to travel to North Texas to support the defending World Cup champions. Fan groups coming directly from Argentina have planned to join Argentines living across North Texas for an outdoor event expected to draw massive crowds.
Known in Argentina as banderazos, these fan gatherings bring supporters together to show their passion through chants, flags, drums, cymbals, horns, dancing, and jumping. They typically take place before matches. In Dallas, the rallies are scheduled for the day before each Argentina game in Arlington.
Argentine Fan Rally at Klyde Warren Park
Two of the largest Argentina supporter groups, Hinchas Argentinos and La Banda de Argentina (known during Qatar 2022 as La Barra de Barwargento), have selected Klyde Warren Park as the meeting point for their fan rallies.

The first event, expected to be a loud and lively sky-blue-and-white celebration, is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, one day before the match against Austria. The rally will begin at 5 p.m. at Klyde Warren Park, located at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway in Uptown Dallas.
Five days later, on Friday, June 26, at 6 p.m., fans will gather again at the same location with the same goal: supporting their national team ahead of its third World Cup match against Jordan.
“The supporters are coming together again to keep doing what we do best: take over the streets, sing for the national team, and show the world what it means to be Argentine,” a post from Hinchas Argentinos on Instagram reads. “No sponsors. With or without tickets. No business interests. Just passion, unwavering support, and thousands of Argentines living a dream together.”
Klyde Warren Park holds special significance for Argentine fans in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. On Dec. 18, 2022, hundreds of North Texas Argentines gathered there after Argentina won its third World Cup title by defeating France in the Qatar World Cup final.

After Party at Al-Amir

At both locations of Al-Amir, a restaurant, bar, and nightclub, Argentine fans plan to gather to watch World Cup matches and continue the celebration afterward. Once the games end, the venue will transform into a dance party. 3885 Belt Line Road, Addison; 701 106th Street, Arlington
Alta Joda Fest at Backyard Dallas
Backyard Dallas, located in Deep Ellum, will host Alta Joda Fest, a gathering for Argentine fans to watch World Cup matches together.
The event will feature the atmosphere of a traditional Argentine soccer celebration, with music, dancing, beer, and, of course, World Cup matches shown on large screens. Admission is free for those who arrive at least one hour before kickoff. 505 N. Good Latimer Expressway, Dallas
La Diez Fan Fest
On Monday, June 22, when Argentina plays its first match in North Texas, Club VIVO in downtown Dallas will host La Diez. Pregame festivities begin at 11 a.m., followed by a watch party on big screens. An after-party starts at 2 p.m., featuring cumbia villera, Argentine rock and other music from Argentina. Fan Rally at Argentina 163
