EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was arrested after a traffic stop in Horizon City revealed he had multiple active warrants from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, according to the Horizon City Police Department
Just after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, an officer with the Horizon City Police Department conducted a traffic routine patrol near the 14000 block of Horizon Boulevard.
The officer observed 44-year-old Rudy Sanchez allegedly driving a vehicle with an expired registration.

A records check showed that Sanchez had three outstanding warrants.
The warrants were issued for driving while intoxicated, unlawful carrying of a handgun, and possession of marijuana.
Sanchez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Horizon City Police Department for processing.
After medical clearance, he was taken to the El Paso County Detention Facility.
