Despite the Houston Heat Advisory that is in effect, some showers and thunderstorms have popped up on the forecast for this afternoon.
The system is moving in from the north, and there is potential for a few storms to become strong to severe and become capable of producing damaging winds.
This potential is mainly focused for areas north of I-10. Remain weather aware today!
