As the sun set on a warm fall day in Fort Worth, Texas in October, the hottest place to be was the 5-star hotel, Bowie House, an Auberge Collection.
A who’s who of Fort Worth’s finest, including mayor Mattie Parker and Nicole Sheridan (yes, the wife of that famous Sheridan), turned out dressed in their western chic best to welcome their fellow Texan, singer Leon Bridges, for a very special performance.
Straight off his 16-city tour, playing in giant stadiums like the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the 36-year-old Grammy winner packed a different kind of venue on Oct. 7. The team at Bowie House created an intimate and cozy lounge space for guests to take in Bridges’ classic soul R&B hits in luxury.

The experience is part of the Auberge Collection Concert Series presented by Bilt, which offers guests access to intimate, exclusive concerts with A-list talent (including Kate Hudson and Maren Morris to name a few) at numerous Auberge properties around the world.
Two tickets for the sold-out show were part of a special series package, which included a one-night stay at the property, two drinks at the show and valet services.
“The Auberge Concert Series is about creating unforgettable moments — moments where the music, the setting, and the audience come together in a way that feels entirely of that place. Leon’s performance at Bowie House embodied that spirit: authentic, intimate, and deeply connected to Fort Worth,” Christian Clerc, President & Chief Executive Officer, Auberge Collection, tells PEOPLE.
The night kicked off with cocktails at the bar outside the listening space, as Bridges mixed and mingled with select attendees ahead of his performance. As guests were taken to their seat in the Silverton Room, attentive wait staff weaved in and out of the rows before (and between songs!) to refill beverages and make sure every need was met.

Guests were greeted with a slew of his chart-topping hits, including “Texas Sun,” “Beyond” and “Coming Home” from Bridges and his band, before making their way to The Bar at Bowie House, the lively gathering spot in town where live music kept the good vibes flowing.
A portion of the concert’s proceeds benefited Bridges’ nonprofit, THE BIG GOOD, an organization which helps local organizations address critical unmet needs in the Fort Worth community. Plus, portions of the specialty “Home Coming” cocktail, which was available during the show, directly benefited THE BIG GOOD. (The drink was also added to the Bowie House Bar menu for the rest of the year, and will continue raising money for the initiative.)
