SAN ELIZARIO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit arrested a 48-year-old wanted fugitive on June 17 after receiving information about his whereabouts.

The sheriff’s office said that on Wednesday, deputies responded to the 12900 block of Petunia Drive in San Elizario, where Eric Rocha was located and taken into custody without incident.

Rocha was wanted on three counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a young child, with the victim under 14 years of age, according to the sheriff’s office.

After his arrest, Rocha was taken to the El Paso County Downtown Detention Facility, where he was booked on all charges under a combined bond of $125,000, the sheriff’s office said.
