HOUSTON – A homicide investigation is underway after a deadly shooting in southwest Houston on Sunday evening.
According to Houston Police Department, officers were dispatched to a shooting call around 6:52 p.m. in the area of Braesmont Drive and Birdwood Road.
Authorities confirmed one person was found dead at the scene.
No arrests have been announced, and no suspect information was immediately available Sunday night.
HPD homicide detectives have been called to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
