AUSTIN, Texas — Police are asking for help identifying a man who allegedly assaulted someone at a Central Austin In-N-Out restaurant last month.

The assault occurred at 1:45 a.m. Sept. 27 at the restaurant at 2700 Guadalupe St., the Austin Police Department said. The suspect punched the victim, causing injuries, in what is believed to have been an unprovoked attack.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, 18 to 24 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 140 to 150 pounds with short black hair.

Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
