BENBROOK – Ken Jones passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the age of 90. Graveside: 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026, in Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Ken was born on July 20, 1935, to Marvin Edwin Jones and Jaunita Idell Jones in Weatherford, Texas. He was a hard-working roofer and a roofing contractor. Ken was a handyman and a true “Mr. Fixit” who loved to work in the garage and building and repairing things. Ken loved to camp! He and his wife of 53 years, Bettie, loved to travel. Over the years they traveled abroad, but mostly they loved traveling in their RV to places like Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota. In 2001, while traveling on an Alaskan cruise, they wound up being stranded in Alaska during 9/11. Ken was a Christian and attended church at Christ Chapel. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ken was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior and by many family members that went on before him! He is survived by his wife, Bettie Jones; sons, Robert (Tammy) and Tony (Diana) Jones; step-son, Fred West (Paul); five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
