The surprising overlap between Love Island and San Antonio continues to unfold. We’ve seen the stars at H-E-B or rooting for the Spurs. Now, the Alamo City has its very own cast member, Parmida Keshani.
The viral Peacock television sensation that corrals a group of young singles into a villa for 24/7 surveillance as they look for love did what it does best Sunday night – shake up the developing dynamic with a new group of “bombshells.” In this latest group, a 27-year-old San Antonio resident kissed contestants and was swooned over by castmates.
Parmida Keshani, a fitness coach and influencer with 72,000 followers on Instagram, was among 12 new bombshells who entered the villa on Sunday in a major twist. A group of women contestants, including the San Antonio dweller, was sent to Casa Amor to mingle with the men already on the show. Another group of new male bombshells will join the remaining women on set at the main villa.
Parmida, who was born in Iran before moving to Texas, made instant connections. Notably, she sent heart rates rising when she claimed she was a “Persian cat” before kissing the lineup of male costars, according to Swooon. To make things extra San Antonio, she reportedly was impressed when Caleb McDaniel tied her hands up – a contestant with his own San Antonio ties.
McDaniel was seemingly spotted sans tattoos on the boxes of inflatable pool toys at Texas’ favorite grocer, H-E-B.
Parmida has been running a personal training company in the Alamo City for years, offering one-on-one coaching. She’s also built quite a following on TikTok and Instagram over the past several years, securing brand collaborations with Darc Sport (a brand with a grungier take on activewear).
For those particularly invested in the stars, Parmida made sure to let fans know she’s a Gemini. The calendar has just turned the page out of her season, but her Love Island journey is just beginning. Keep track of her journey for love on Peacock with new episodes airing Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. Central Standard Time.
