The FIFA World Cup group stage wraps up Saturday night with concurrent games. Argentina plays Jordan at Dallas Stadium; Algeria plays Austria at Kansas City Stadium, both at 9 p.m. CST – the winner will also clinch a spot in the knockout round.
Argentina already wrapped up Group J with a 2-0 win over Austria on Monday afternoon at Dallas Stadium; Lionel Messi became the World Cup’s all-time leading goalscorer, and he leads the tournament’s Golden Boot race for most goals.
Argentina will move on to Miami next Friday, July 3, against the runner-up from Group H (Spain, Uruguay, Cabo Verde, and Saudi Arabia).
The runner-up in Group J will face the winner of the aforementioned Group H on Thursday, July 2, in Los Angeles.
