For many people in Arizona, Buc-ee’s has been more of a legend than a quick stop. At the new Goodyear location, one Valley family got their first taste of the Texas-based travel center, from the massive merchandise section to the sweets, jerky, drinks and Beaver Nuggets. Their first trip turned into a full tour of what makes Buc-ee’s so different from a typical gas station or convenience store. By the end, they said the hype was real — and even bigger than they expected.
