Since 2023, Bojangles has been bringing its signature fried chicken to the San Antonio area, opening its first location on Potranco Road. To date, two Bojangles locations have opened across the city, with several more on the way, including a new location near Alamo Ranch.
A banner for a new Bojangles has been hung outside a defunct Arby’s on Culebra Road on the city’s Far Northwest Side. The new Bojangles will be located between a McDonald’s and a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. MySA reached out to Bojangles to inquire about new locations coming to San Antonio.

The last of the three is the location on Culebra Road, which becomes FM 471 at a certain point. MySA is also aware of an additional Bojangles location planned for the Converse area, according to a project details page filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Bojangles was previously known for its bone-in chicken, but newer locations have gone fully boneless, joining other chains, such as Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and Slim Chickens, that specialize in tenders.
