EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Around 11:30 Tuesday morning, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office issued a shelter-in-place order for 4000 Bobbie Kay Place, near Monument.
The area is near Ray E. Kilmer Elementary School, east of Monument Academy’s East Campus.

The Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating a shooting and looking for a suspect in the area.
They ask that people in the area secure their home or business and stay away from doors and windows.
