A person who was shot earlier this month in Dallas died Tuesday from their injury, police said.
Officers responded about 3:10 p.m. June 3 to a shooting call in the 3500 block of Lancaster Road. Police said the victim had been shot by an unknown suspect, who fled before officers arrived.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said the victim, who has not been publicly identified, died June 23.
No arrest has been announced, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
