LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Police are responding to a crash in east Lubbock that left two people seriously injured.
Just before just before 6:45 a.m., officers were called to a crash with injuries involving a semi-truck in the 7000 block of South East Drive.
Police say both the driver of the 18-wheeler and the pickup truck suffered serious injuries.
The driver of the semi was taken to Covenant while the driver of the pickup was taken to UMC.
The intersection at Southeast Loop 289 and Southeast Drive is closed to all traffic at this time.
