Plano has gained a new venue that combines sports and dining, just in time to enjoy the World Cup matches.

Victory Tap Sports Lounge opened its doors at West Plano Village, at 5973 W. Parker Road, featuring 32 screens, two video walls and an American-style menu.

The new venue spans 7,600 square feet and can accommodate 250 people. In addition to the screens broadcasting sporting events, the venue offers a variety of recreational activities, like a professional Formula 1 racing simulator, an outdoor bocce court, and areas for playing cornhole, foosball and shuffleboard.

The menu combines traditional sports bar fare with American cuisine. Among the options available are wings in various flavors, birria-style brisket tacos, fried calamari, bloody mary deviled eggs, different kinds of pizzas, salads, bowls, burgers and sushi.

Standout entrée options include steak frites, roasted chicken, miso cod and rigatoni alla vodka.

This sports lounge will serve lunch and dinner every day of the week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant will also have happy hour Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Victory Tap is the latest venture from Lombardi Family Concepts, a restaurant group with locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area including Bistro 31, Toulouse Cafe & Bar, Taverna and Lombardi Cucina Italiana.
