Rush has postponed the first of their four scheduled concerts in Dallas-Fort Worth by a week, citing “travel and border-related delays.”
“Due to unforeseen travel and border-related delays impacting our touring production following our recent Mexico City tour dates, tonight’s show in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 2,” they share on social media. “All fans holding a ticket for tonight’s June 24 show will be able to use that same ticket for the rescheduled performance on July 2 at Dickies Arena. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding given these circumstances out of our control.”
Fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled date may request a refund through the original point of purchase.
The band will resume its Fifty Something Tour as scheduled for the remaining Dallas-Fort Worth dates on Friday, June 26th, Sunday, June 28th, and Tuesday, June 30th at Dickies Arena.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees kicked off the highly anticipated trek earlier this month with four sold-out shows at Los Angeles‘ Kia Forum, marking the band’s first tour performance in 11 years. The show launched a landmark run celebrating more than five decades of Rush music and legacy, bringing the band full circle, as Kia Forum was also the site of Rush’s final R40 Tour performance on August 1, 2015, with longtime band member Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020.
Co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are joined by acclaimed drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold. The Fifty Something performances have featured two sets of Rush classics and complete album jams with an alternating set list for each show.
