The Midland Police Department said a man wanted in connection with a shooting in Midland has been arrested.
Jarmar Monk, 43, was arrested Wednesday, June 24, in Lubbock, according to MPD.
Earlier this week, MPD issued an arrest warrant for Monk in connection with a shooting reported about 3:12 a.m. Sunday, June 21, in the 200 block of South Lee Street.
MPD said the victim, a 25-year-old Midland man, was taken in a personal vehicle to Midland Memorial Hospital.
“An initial investigation revealed the victim had been shot in approximately the 200 block of South Lee Street near Club Remy,” MPD stated.
No additional details have been released.
