EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Emergency crews extinguished a house fire in El Paso’s Segundo Barrio on Thursday afternoon.
According to the El Paso Fire Department, it took crews almost half an hour to bring under control a house fire at 507 S. Ochoa St. (near the Lydia Patterson Institute); fortunately, no injuries were reported.
EPFD stated that the emergency call came in at around 2:45 p.m., adding that it took around two minutes for the first unit to arrive at the scene of the fire, which was described as condition 2.

According to EPFD numbers, a total of 13 units responded to the incident.
Furthermore, EPFD said the fire did not spread to neighboring homes as it was mostly burning the attic.
The cause of the fire remains a mystery as the incident remains under investigation.
