Ivory Coast locked down a spot in the June 30 game at Dallas Stadium on Thursday with its 2-0 win over Curacao in the final game of the group stage. Ivory Coast finishes as the runner-up in Group E, which sets them up for a round-of-32 game in North Texas against the runner-up from Group I.
That slot will be filled by either France, the tournament favorite, or Norway, with those two teams squaring off in their final group stage game to determine who wins Group I. Both currently sit at six points apiece heading into their Friday matchup.
The team already booked for Dallas, Ivory Coast, finishes group play with wins over Curacao and Ecuador. They entered the tournament ranked by FIFA as the 29th-best team in the world.
