WEATHERFORD – John William Cody Hyatt, 43, was healed by the Lord and welcomed into his Heavenly home on Monday, June 22, 2026. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday, June, 26, 2026, at Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church, 2731 S FM 129 Santo, Texas. The service will be officiated by: Jesse Tunnell. Cody was born on August 12, 1982, in Killeen, Texas, to Donald W. and Gail Hyatt. He was known for his huge sense of humor and his timely sarcasm. He never met a stranger and even through his battle he was the life of the party in every room he was in. Cody enjoyed spending time with his family, flying small engine airplanes, and being outside doing yard work where he built a reputable lawn care business. Cody loved watching his daughters play sports or anything they were involved in and that continued when his precious grandson arrived. He also took great joy in his fur babies who loved him right back. His hospitality and care for every person was unmatched and he always made sure everyone was taken care of and valued even on his hardest days. Cody was preceded in death by his father, Donald W. Hyatt; and brother, Donald Wayne Hyatt Jr. He is survived by his wife, Syndi who was his best friend; daughters, Skylar Tew and Halli Hyatt; grandson, Kayce; mother, Gail Hyatt; sister, LaDawn and her husband Ismael Rivera; and numerous cousins; family members; and friends that became family.
