One person is dead after a fight at an apartment complex in Dallas overnight Friday, police say.
Officers responded to the 3300 block of Linfield Road just before 2:30 a.m. early Friday morning. Police say a group of people were having a gathering inside of one of the apartments.
Officials say two men got into a fight when one man pulled out a gun and shot the other multiple times. The victim died on scene. One person has been detained, police say.
The shooting remains under investigation.
