San Antonio is home to the largest LGBTQ+ night parade, and the celebrations don’t stop there. In fact, they rage on from the morning well into the night in the city’s Pride Cultural Heritage District. If you’re headed for this year’s festivities, here’s what you should know about parking, tickets, viewing spots, policies and hours.

The Pride Bigger Than Texas night parade in San Antonio kicks off at 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, and runs down N. Main Avenue from Dewey Place to W. Euclid Avenue. 

Is the 2026 Pride festival in San Antonio free?

Not for all. Entry to the 2026 Pride Bigger Than Texas festival in San Antonio is free for those ages 11 and under, and tickets for those 12 and up are available online for $12.72 each. At the gate, cash and eTickets will be accepted, but credit cards will not be accepted. Inside the festival, vendors may accept cash, credit or debit cards, or online payment platforms like Cash App, PayPal or Venmo.

Is the 2026 Pride night parade in San Antonio free?

Viewing the 2026 Pride Bigger Than Texas night parade is free, though businesses along the route may offer paid VIP viewing or seating. Pride San Antonio encourages attendees to check in with those businesses directly. 

Where to park for 2026 Pride festival and night parade in San Antonio?

A spokesperson for Pride San Antonio told MySA via email that street parking will be available “in certain parts of the neighborhood” as well as three San Antonio College garages. Blog Out x Out recommends using rideshare services or VIA public transit over parking, if possible.

What should I bring to the 2026 Pride festival, night parade in San Antonio?

There are a few items that are encouraged for the events and others that are prohibited. 

You can bring folding chairs, camping chairs, strollers, child carriers and pet carriers. At the festival, outside food and beverages are prohibited, and reusable bottles must be empty upon entry. Yetis, cups, styrofoam cups, containers, glass bottles, Camelbaks or tumblers are not allowed. Ice chests and coolers are also prohibited. Additionally, smoking and vaping is not allowed in accordance with city ordinances. Knives, weapons and firearms (including concealed firearms) are not allowed.

The festival also prohibits nudity, signage and banners containing violent or hateful language, imagery, or symbols, as well as clothing bearing messages that incite hatred or violence. Bullhorns, amplified audio or audiovisual equipment used to spread discriminatory or inflammatory content is forbidden.

2026 San Antonio Pride festival and night parade bag policy

The bag policy requires bags to be clear and smaller than 2″ x 6″ x 12″, though exceptions may be made for medical or diaper bags. All bags, including camera bags, are subject to search.

The parade guidelines are broader. According to the website, “all food and beverage consumption must comply with City of San Antonio ordinances. We encourage all spectators to practice responsible waste management—please use designated trash and recycling bins to help keep our community clean and sustainable.” 

Does the 2026 Pride festival in San Antonio have a pet policy? 

Pets must be attended, leashed and never tied to trees or poles. You must clean up after your pet and dispose of any waste.

What roads are closed for the 2026 Pride night parade in San Antonio?

According to the San Antonio Police Department, Belknap, Lewis, Howard and Main Avenue are closed to Cypress from 5 p.m. until midnight on June 27. From 8 p.m. until midnight, Main Avenue, Lexington and Euclid are closed for the parade.
