Howard Hughes Communities announced Wednesday that Empire Homes is joining Bridgeland’s Creekland Village, bringing a new collection of single-family homes aimed at entry-level and move-up buyers.
The homes will be built exclusively in Creekland Village and are expected to range from roughly 1,500 to 2,800 square feet, with one- and two-story floor plans offering three to five bedrooms and two to four bathrooms.
“Empire Homes strengthens Bridgeland’s appeal for buyers seeking quality, design and value at an important price point,” Jim Carman, president of the Texas region for Howard Hughes Communities, said in a statement. “This addition broadens choice in Creekland Village and reflects the kind of thoughtful growth that continues to distinguish Bridgeland in the Northwest Houston market.”
Creekland Village alone spans nearly 2,300 acres, with 54 percent of the village dedicated to green space. A 14-acre amenity center is expected to open this year with a community center, two pools, a fitness center and basketball, tennis and pickleball courts.
“Bridgeland offers the kind of long-term planning, natural beauty, and everyday convenience that resonates with today’s homebuyers,” Tracy Brown, division president for Empire Homes, said in a statement. “We are excited to bring new homes to Creekland Village that expand access to this community for both entry-level and move-up buyers.”
Model home construction is expected to begin soon, with a grand opening anticipated in fall 2026.
The new homes arrive as the Houston-area housing market continues to show signs of movement despite affordability concerns and elevated mortgage rates. For Cypress, the announcement also reinforces how much of the region’s residential growth is still pushing northwest, where large communities like Bridgeland continue adding homes, amenities and future commercial development.
