Marian June Hallum went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 13, 2026. She was born on June 1, 1965, in Houston, Texas, to Max and Mary Holomek. Family and friends are invited to celebrate June’s life at a visitation beginning one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Mount Olivet Chapel. The funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation. With Burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery. June was preceded in death by her father, Max Holomek. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Holomek; her son, Dustyn Fernandes; her sisters, Lawson Streetman and Rosemary Reeves; her brother, Joe Holomek; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. June was a loving, warm-hearted, and sentimental soul whose kindness touched everyone she met. She never hesitated to help those in need, whether they were family, friends, or complete strangers. Her compassion extended to animals as well, and she always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, a dream that reflected her gentle and caring nature. A dedicated and hardworking woman, June spent many years employed by several major dry-cleaning companies. After becoming a wife and mother, she devoted herself to raising her son as a stay-at-home mom. Later, she joined the Walmart family, where her cheerful spirit, beautiful smile, and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on both her coworkers and customers. Her outstanding work ethic earned her numerous awards, including Employee of the Month, on several occasions. Perhaps June’s greatest act of love came when her mother could no longer care for herself. Without hesitation, June became her primary caregiver, faithfully providing comfort, support, and unconditional love until she was no longer physically able to do so. June leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering love. The memories she created and the lives she touched will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
