FORT WORTH – Fred Soriano, 79, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026. A Rosary service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Mount Olivet Chapel. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Fred was born on December 31, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas, to Nicholas and Maria Lourdes Soriano. He lived a life defined by hard work, unwavering devotion to his family, and an appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. A proud United States Air Force veteran, Fred dedicated many years of faithful service to the United States Postal Service, where he built a long and respected career. Outside of work, he found his greatest happiness spending time with those he loved. Whether casting a fishing line, tending the barbecue, or cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys, Fred embraced every moment with enthusiasm and warmth. Above all else, Fred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love and guidance will continue to inspire his family for generations to come. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou; his sons, Fred Anthony Soriano and his wife, Michele; David Soriano and his wife, Lara; and Steven Soriano and his wife, Staci. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Priscilla Miller and her husband, Jake; Jordan Soriano and Jocelyn; Tristan Soriano and his wife, Sarinah; Andrew Soriano; Payton Soriano; and Wyatt Soriano. Fred was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: John Miller, Jimena Soriano, and Aurora Soriano, who is expected to arrive soon and will carry forward the legacy of a great-grandfather she never had the opportunity to meet. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that his love, values, and memories will live on through the generations he loved so dearly.
