FORT WORTH – With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Oscar Gabriel Lechuga, who left this world far too soon on June 22, 2026, at the age of 38. Above all else, Oscar was a devoted father to his beloved 10-year-old son, Oliver Grey Lechuga, who was the center of his world. There was nothing Oscar loved more than spending time with Oliver. Whether they were gaming together, swimming, or recently learning the art of smoking meats, every moment they shared was one Oscar cherished. His greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being Oliver’s dad. Oscar had a gift for bringing people together. He was the life of every party, with an infectious laugh that could fill a room and a personality that made everyone feel welcome. He was incredibly funny, goofy, quick-witted, and endlessly entertaining. His kindness, humor, and ability to make people smile are qualities that will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known him. He was also remarkably intelligent and creative. Oscar had an exceptional talent for technology and could build computers from scratch, troubleshoot nearly any technical problem, and eagerly help anyone in need. He turned his passion into a career, working as an IT Consultant with Computer Network Solutions and as a Warehouse Manager at Best Buy. Never one to stop learning, Oscar was also pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, furthering his education while continuing to build a career doing what he loved. He took great pride in his work and was respected for his knowledge, dedication, and willingness to help others. Oscar is survived by his cherished son, Oliver Grey Lechuga; his mother, Valerie Ann Lechuga; his father, Oscar Manuel Lechuga; his sister, Angelica Lechuga Seto, and brother-in-law, Matthew Seto; his beloved niece and nephews, Norah Seto, Walter Seto, and William Seto; his grandparents, Aniceto Lechuga and Ana Lechuga; his stepmother, Elvia Lechuga; his stepbrothers, Marcus Zavala and Ethan Zavala; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Though his time with us was far too short, Oscar’s laughter, generous heart, brilliant mind, and unwavering love for his son will live on in the countless lives he touched. He leaves behind memories that will forever bring smiles through tears and a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. A Rosary and Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 6150 Pershing Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to celebrate Oscar’s life from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at HopFusion Ale Works, 200 E. Broadway Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76104.
