Two content creators with Texas ties are among Forbes’ list of the world’s top 50 creators for 2026.
Viral challenge and reality show creator MrBeast topped the Forbes list with $300 million in earnings, and inspirational storyteller Dhar Mann took second place with $65 million.
Here’s what to know about the two Texas-linked influencers who are turning viewers into dollars.
Alix Earle came to Houston during her relationship with former Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios. The couple split in December.
Earle, who is known for her beauty tutorials, ranked No. 16 with $12 million in earnings. She has more than 14.5 million followers across platforms as she promotes her skincare company, Reale Actives, an upcoming Netflix show and her appearance as a recent runner-up on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Earle told People last year that when Berrios signed with the Houston team, she immediately got a pair of red cowboy boots to support the Texans.
During her time in Texas, Earle visited University of Texas sororities in Austin and filmed TikTok videos with multiple sorority houses for recruitment videos. In her vlogs, she also said she enjoyed living in Houston, highlighting her H-E-B runs, p;ilates classes and restaurant outings.
Alan Chikin Chow, known for his acting and writing, ranked No. 25 on Forbes’ list with $10.5 million in earnings. Chow, a Dallas native who grew up in Plano, has more than 101 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, Alan’s Universe, where he features content about high school romance, vampires and evil teachers.
Chow often discusses his Texas roots in podcast interviews and shares how he first started creating videos to make his mother laugh. Chow said in an interview with “On the Record with Julian Reis” that his mother is still his target audience.
