EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso County unveiled on Tuesday a new mobile unit designed to bring essential county clerk services directly to residents who may not have easy access to the courthouse or annexes.

Anthony Bedoya, chief deputy for the county clerk of El Paso, explained the initiative: “This is our mobile unit and what it… We just want to be available to the constituents of El Paso.”

The mobile unit, only the second of its kind in Texas, offers services such as marriage, death, and birth certificates, as well as property records.

“It’s literally our office on wheels,” Bedoya said, emphasizing the convenience and accessibility it provides.

The unit will deploy twice a week, with schedules available on the El Paso County website.
