EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A large structure fire broke out in central El Paso on Monday night, prompting firefighters to respond to the intersection of Octavia and Yandell.
The El Paso Fire Department said the call came in at 9:38 p.m. reporting a large fire at the intersection. The department said the fire involved two structures.
The fire has since been extinguished, but crews remained on scene working to locate hotspots, the fire department said.
EPFD said the fire caused a partial roof collapse on both structures.
According to the EPFD, there are no injuries reported and investigators are on scene. However, the Red Cross was requested for displaced residents from one of the structures.
