According to Gail Anderson, the lead call taker for the City of Lubbock’s 311 department the most common calls they receive fluctuate throughout the year. ‘The most common calls we have had recently for the month of September were animal services. The next one is streets, streets are always going to be a big department,” Anderson said.

When it comes to resolving these reports, the city relies on a system called SeeClickFlix, which allows residents to submit issues directly online. “People don’t necessarily have to go through us. They can report on the SeeClickFlix report.” Anderson said.
