AUSTIN, Texas — This October, the Austin Symphony Orchestra is bringing a season full of unforgettable live music experiences to the city, from epic film scores to spooky Halloween fun.
Music Director and Orchestra Conductor Peter Bay, along with Assistant Conductor Pablo Zamora, sat down with We Are Austin’s Sierra Waggoner to share exciting details about the upcoming concerts and what audiences can look forward to this fall.
The season kicks off with a journey to a galaxy far, far away featuring the iconic Star Wars concert — a chance for fans to experience the legendary score performed live by the orchestra.
Soon after, Grammy Award-winning pianist will take the stage, adding a dazzling touch of virtuosity to the Masterworks series. Audiences can also anticipate several other masterful performances showcasing classical favorites and new compositions.
Assistant Conductor Pablo Zamora is not only helping to lead the Masterworks series, but is especially excited to lead the Halloween Children’s Concert, promising a family-friendly event full of fun, music, and festive surprises.
