KHOU confirmed to Chron that Trason Bragg has been named the station’s new noon anchor, moving from his role as weekend morning anchor. The promotion leaves an opening on the weekend morning team.
Earlier in his career, he spent three years as a reporter and sports anchor/reporter at CBS 46 WGCL, now Atlanta News First, before launching his television career as a reporter at KRGV 5 in the Rio Grande Valley in 2017.
A Los Angeles native, Bragg graduated from UCLA, where he studied film, television and theater and played football.
Bragg’s promotion is the latest change to KHOU’s anchor lineup.
