EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One of America’s biggest celebrations is here, and everyone is going all out for the 250th Anniversary! With large fireworks displays, parades, and a variety of other activities, Que Pasa? is bringing you all the exciting red, white, and fun events happening throughout the Borderland. Destination El Paso, City of El Paso, Fort Bliss’ America 250 Celebration

Join the City of El Paso as they close out their America 250th eight-day celebration with an unforgettable night! Experience the event from 5 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 at the El Paso Convention Center with live music, patriotic traditions, family activities, local vendors, military displays, a one-of-a-kind projection experience and a drone show! You can also sign up for the apple pie contest and the hot dog eating contest!

KTSM 9 is proud to serve as the official broadcast and digital partner for the America 250 Celebration, presented by Destination El Paso.

The KTSM Morning News team will provide coverage showing off the festivities from one of El Paso’s biggest Independence Day celebrations.

Coverage starts with a special edition of KTSM 9 News from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by extended live coverage on KTSM+ from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Viewers can enjoy performances by the First Armored Division, live music, including a performance by Julián Kalel, and a spectacular projection and drone show to close out the evening.

KTSM 9 will also bring viewers stories from across the country as communities celebrate America’s 250th birthday from coast to coast.

Join The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso for an unforgettable night and their first-ever fireworks show! The fun starts at noon on Friday, July 3. Guests can enjoy giveaways, a fashion show, a farmers market, a dance contest with Bobby “Dancing Bobby” Bones and live music. The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m.

Bring your whole family to this fun and free event at The Solana! The 4th of July celebration party begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. Gather your friends and family at Ascarate Park for El Paso County and Fort Bliss’ celebration of America’s 250th Birthday! The festivities kick off on Saturday, July 4, starting with a swim in the Ascarate pool around noon. As you make your way into the park, enjoy food trucks, live music, and entertainment. Conclude the evening with a spectacular fireworks show beginning around 9:20 p.m.!

Enjoy a night of hometown pride and tradition with the City of Socorro’s Independence Day Xtravaganza event! Gates open at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at Cougar park. The event will feature special performance by Lupita Infante, live music and entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, giveaways, activities and a fireworks show to close out the night.

If huge crowds aren’t really your thing but want to get the best seats in the house for the fireworks show, La Perla Rooftop has got you covered! From 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, the Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park is inviting the public to one of the city’s most iconic vantage points to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary. Admission for two people is $250 and an extra $50 per person. Your admission includes prime views, reserved viewing table, and a picnic basket for 2.

Get a great view of the fireworks at St. Francis on the Hill Episcopal Church’s Fireworks on the Hill event! From 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, bring your family, friends and lawn chair for a day filled with food trucks, vendor market, live music and the best seats in the house for all the firework shows happening across the city. City of Las Cruces America’s 250th Anniversary Celebrations

The City of Las Cruces is preparing to celebrate America’s 250th all weekend long! At 9 p.m. on Friday, July 3, the Electric Light Parade begins at Apodaca Park. This year’s theme is “Stars, Strips & City Lights” and this year’s Grand Marshal is New Mexico native and Master Sergeant Melissa Gonzales.

Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, at the Pat and Lou Sisbarro Community Park, the Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks celebration kicks off, with a kids zone, family fun, food and live music. The Annual Fireworks Display will begin at 9:45 p.m.

It was noted by the City that there will be a clear bag policy in place and bags will be checked. As well, RVs or overnight parking will be allowed. No outside alcohol, grilling or personal fireworks will be allowed in. Food can be brought in but no glass containers will be permitted.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, personal umbrellas, sunscreen and hats.

Celebrate America’s 250th at the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation! Tailgate at the hall before the fireworks show, with gates opening at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 at 3198 State Road 2001 in Alamogordo. This is for members only, so sign up and snag a close up spot for the City of Alamogordo’s fireworks show!

The Town of Mesilla is inviting the community to its America’s 250th Anniversary celebration! The event begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 in the Historic Plaza. Residents and visitors alike will enjoy an unforgettable celebration with music, family fun, food, a hot dog eating competition and a spectacular fireworks finale, kicking off at 9:30 p.m.

Doña Ana County’s Three-night Celebration for America’s 250th Anniversary

Join Doña Ana County as they end their three-day celebration for America’s 250th Anniversary! The last day to celebrate with the County begins at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, at the Doña Ana County Fairgrounds. Get ready for a night filled with live music, a drone show, a foam party with DJ Hex and so much more. Admission is free!
